The Role – Core Purpose:

The role is located within our Learning & Organisational Development Practice and is responsible for the delivery of existing leadership development content, the design of new face to face, remote and digital content, and organisational development consulting working in a high energy environment. Our leadership development programmes often integrate Financial Services and Technology domain knowledge to make them more effective. We are looking to bring someone with Banking and Technology expertise and the desire to develop their training and consulting skills to augment an already rich and diverse team.


A Senior/Principal Consultant within L&OD should generally expect to:

·      Deliver/facilitate existing leadership development sessions using existing content

·      Coach clients individually to support their personal development

·      Support the design of new content for face to face, remote and digital delivery, bringing to bear financial services and technical/software engineering expertise to integrate this with the leadership development and behavioural learning

·      Take part in organisational development and culture change initiatives such as developing an effective agile culture across large organisations

·      Build close, collaborative client & organisational relationships

We are specifically looking for someone who can:

·      Work closely with the existing team and deliver multiple modules for clients as a facilitator

·      Bring in expertise from their speciality (banking & technology) to add to our delivery and design

·      Bring to bear strong presentation and communication skills

·      Empower others with energy and creativity whilst facilitating intense training sessions

For this role we are specifically looking for someone with Financial Services and Software Development/Technology experience who, most importantly, would like to transition to leadership development training, facilitation and consulting. There is no strict requirement to have delivered this training previously, but the successful candidate will evidence the energy, proactivity and enthusiasm to develop a capability in this while contributing the domain knowledge and experience to the design and delivery of the learning and consulting interventions.

They will have:

  • A meaningful desire to develop their career in leadership development and organisational consulting
  • A strong Technology and/or Financial Services background, with several years practical experience in working in Financial Services or a Technology organisation (preferably both)
  • Polished presentation and communication skills, and confidence to present to large and senior audiences face to face or remotely via Zoom
  • Credibility in front of senior and technical audiences in speaking about their previous experience in Technology and/or Banking
  • Strong motivation, wanting to grow further personally, professionally and to help grow a business
  • A real interest in personal development, learning new things and developing others
  • Stakeholder management skills and a client centric mindset
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Not mandatory but highly beneficial would be the additional experience in:
  • training design and delivery or organisational change consulting
  • creating learning content using the Articulate 360 suite
  • cultural change programmes – coaching, facilitation and team development

Given the current situation the bulk of the work will be delivered remotely working flexibly across time zones as part of a global team, but candidates should be willing and able to travel globally when it is safe and appropriate to do so.
